B & Lu


We've been following B&Lu forever (back when they had a more diy website!), and we just love the look of their clothes. They have attractive patterns that aren't too loud and figure-flattering cuts. The prices seem right on for the products. The following are our favorite pieces.

An update on the classic cardigan! Gathers along bust line. Hangs open for an easy fit. Back seam has matching crochet lace detail. 3/4 sleeves. 85% acrylic. 15% wool.


Super cute sweater is great layering piece. Button detail is just for looks. Slips on over your head. Slit in front opens up to the bottom button. Cute baby doll empire seam.


Vibrant yellow top has eyelet arms & bottom trim. Flowy fit. Lightweight 100% cotton.


Lovely slighty sheer crepe blouse has wrap styling. Ruffle neckline & short flutter sleeve. Made for something to be worn underneath. Ties are long enough to be tied in front or back.

Cute small polka dots in black, grey, green on white background. Black banded bottom. Fuller through body. Button detail along neckline. Key hole in back.

Cute spring floral print is grey with mustard contrast. Ties on each side. Cross over neckline. Longer Length. 100% rayon.Made in the USA by b&lu. **This top runs a bit small. You may want to order up a size.

Easy fit pull on skirt has lovely rose print. Fully lined with a brown liner. A line shape. 96% poly. 4% spandex.

I just shopped there this weekend. I hope it's as wonderful as you say.

I do have a question regarding the flattering nature of some of the styles you have chosen.

For example the sweaters cut under the breasts and flow out could be a total hit or miss. the top as the dots or the yellow appear to have a constricted bottom which would settle on the waist or hip, leaving the roomy portion of the shirt to balloon around your tummy area.

Let's be real. If we are buying plus sized, we prob already have a little more in that area already, why wear something that would accentuate that?
